“Detour” was produced by Cam Ferguson in his home studio with the aid of Jared Mackey on drums, and recording engineer Joel Adams. Showcasing Cam’s stratocaster-blues roots, “Detour” has it’s origins as a failed attempt to write a skater punk song for a friend. What transpired instead has become one of Cam’s personal favorites of his own.

One of my favorite concepts is “Quality THROUGH Quantity”. Because of that, I am aiming to write 100 songs in hopes of choosing the 10 best ones to create an album. Below are the demos I have so far. Also available will be links to videos and blog posts that will document the writing and demo production of each song, plus the songwriting, production, and musical lessons I learned along the way.
